Evans’s originally started out in 1945, over the years the business has grown and is now run from three area sales offices. Our head office and factory are based in Newtown, with another office in Craven Arms and Knighton.

We have a full team of employees from office staff, sales representatives, surveyor, factory technicians, fitters and brick laying team who all work as a together to provide you with the very best experience. We manufacture our products in our factory in Newtown to the highest standard possible. Evans’s originally started out in 1945 by Mr Joffree Evans constructing timber buildings for the farming community of Mid Wales, which later developed into timber garden buildings, chalets and garages.

In 1966 Mr Evans started building properties which over the years built more than 300 speculative houses in Newtown and the surrounding area. In 1978 the business diversified into making timber windows for their development houses along with supplying to trade.

Soon after that they started supplying and installing windows in the retail trade. In 1983 they started manufacturing pvcu windows, doors and conservatories for the domestic market in Mid Wales.

Since then they have made many new developments in the pvcu and double glazing industries, which has kept Evans Windows at the forfront of the domestic market.

The business is now controlled by Graham, Julie and Kathy (Mr Evans son and daughter and granddaughter) Evans Windows is one of the biggest manufactures in the area. We have an office in Newtown, Craven Arms and Knighton along with the main manufacturing unit based in Newtown. We offer a full range of pvcu products keeping up with the latest ranges available.
